I have a life-long passion for wood, I have worked for many years with many people from all parts of the world. I started my business here in Scotland in January 2007. The local hardwoods of Argyll are among the most beautiful woods I have worked with. All my timber is sourced locally. My personal style is using burry and quirkily shaped edges, however, I am flexible to what the client desires.
When people ask me what it is I do with wood, I say anything wooden other than house construction.
I am a trained cabinet maker and furniture restorer and my sculpting has been self inspired, but really the inspiration for my sculpting has come from nature and letting the wood speak for itself.
